B2B Meetings - How does it work?
A matchmaking event is a quick and easy way to meet potential cooperation partners in face-2-face online talks.
20 minutes run fast but it is enough to build first connections before the bell rings and the next talk starts. The event will take place virtually.
2. Registration until 18th November 2022
You can register your participation by clicking the Register button.
Remember to insert your contact details and a cooperation profile on what you are looking for.
2. Set up your business profile
Create a strong business profile which will raise your visibility to others on this platform. Make it clear and concise. Your profile should describe who you are, what you can offer potential partners and who you want to meet.
A good profile will significantly generate more meetings. Don't forget your profile will be live and visible even after the event.
Remind to complete the Marketplace session (Product or request or service inputs: it will help you to find the right partner for the meeting).
3. Browse profiles of attendees and send & receive meeting requests
Go to the List of Participants to find out who is offering interesting and promosing business opportunities.
Browse published participants profiles and send meeting requests to those you want to meet during the event.
4. Request meetings: from 16th October to 18th November 2022
You will receive an e-mail to remind you to start booking your meetings. Be active not reactive.
Adding a meaningful remark why you are interested in a meeting will increase the chance that your request will be accepted.
REMIND that to confirm the meetings received, you have to accept the requests!
- Select participants you are interested in from the List of Participants
- Select the profile you are interested in and click on request meeting
- Confirm the meeting requests you may receive (check regularly your profile)
ATTENTION!
You are kindly invited to confirm the requests by 1 day before the beginning of the event and avoid pending meetings.
From your personal profile you will always have access to your personal Agenda where you will find your meetings.
5. Join the Matchmaking Event
Access your meetings in My Agenda or Meetings, where you have your complete schedule for the event and the list of your meetings. Check your camera and microphone and don't be late!
How to initiate a Virtual Meeting?
- Identify promising participants on the Participants list or the Marketplace page on the event's website. Once you found a suitable meeting partner, click "Request meeting" to send them a meeting request.
- Use the Messages functionality to chat about common interests and availability.
- Click "View Profile →" to find out more about the participant.
- If you would like to have a meeting with them, you can also request a meeting here.
- Check My agenda and Meetings for your schedule and your list of confirmed meetings.
- At the time of the meeting, go to the Meetings page and click on Start Meeting.
Technical requirements for Virtual meetings
The virtual meetings take place through the b2match video tool, which is integrated in the b2match platform and it doesn’t need to/it can't be downloaded.
Remember to install the latest version of your browser!
Use a device with an incorporated webcam or a webcam. Without the camera, the meeting can still take place in the audio mode.
Microphone and camera
You can test your microphone and camera in your Meetings list, once you are logged in to your b2match profile. In order to do this, you need to click the blue Camera and microphone test and follow the instructions.
If there are issues, the system will indicate the browser's documentation's regarding the microphone and camera usage.
